ILA Kyoto Conference : Call for Poster Presentation

The closing date for "Call for Poster Presentation" is extended to 20 April. As a vast number of applications came around 20 February, the result of the selection for those applications will be informed together on 4 May (without distinguishing the applications submitted before and on 20 February and those submitted after 21 February).

The Organizing Committee of the 2020 ILA Kyoto Conference is pleased to announce that the Conference will hold a poster session which provides early career scholars, including Ph.D. students and Post-doctoral researchers, with an opportunity to present their research activities as a poster at the Conference venue. The Committee will set up a time-frame during the Conference for poster-presenters to explain their research and discuss with participating international lawyers from all corners of the world. Submissions in any field of public or private international law are welcome.

To submit an application, please send an abstract of maximum 600 words and your CV through the application page.

The Kyoto Conference will also have the special panels which invite paper submissions. Double applications are possible.

In selecting poster-presenters, the Organizing Committee will consider the creativity and potential of the proposed ideas and visions. If selected, each presenter is kindly requested to prepare a poster which can fit a panel size of 240cm high x 90cm wide and bring it to the Conference venue by himself or herself.

The Organizing Committee regrets that it cannot provide any discount for the registration fee or cover expenses for travel and accommodation. Selected speakers are also kindly asked to register themselves through the website of the 2020 ILA Kyoto Conference. The Committee will announce the outcome of the selection process to all the applicants before the deadline of early-bird registration.
